And to celebrate this shared love for Bollywood with thousands of others, attendance at Mumbai’s iconic music festival is mandatory. Knocking off the concert season in Mumbai, the Bollywood Music Project comes bearing iconic anthems, on-repeat favourites and both classic and new hits from Bollywood’s treasured singers.
When and where is the Bollywood Music Project?
Spanning an entire weekend, the music festival starts on October 4 and ends on October 5 at the Jio World Garden.
What to expect?

With a lineup of 30-plus artists, this music festival promises to present an entire spectrum of Bollywood music. Headlining the show is Padma Shri awardee and Grammy-winning singer Shankar Mahadevan performing a whopping three-hour set with Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Other big names include Farhan Akhtar, Shaan, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant and Bismil. Scoring an impressive compilation, you can expect songs like Dil Chahta Hai, Rock On, Gallan Goodiyaan, You’re My Love, and Dus Bahane.
Further, Anu Malik comes equipped with his celebrated 90s hits like Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali Ho and Uchi Hai Building, while Usha Uthup impresses with her performance of Darling. With the acts scheduled over a weekend, the main stage will witness at least ten live performances throughout the course of one day. Many include an array of artists such as Baba Sehgal, Hargun Kaur and Kabir Singh, among many more.

This festival is a true showcase of Bollywood’s creativity, energy, & collaboration, and we’re proud to see the community embrace it with such passion.”
The festival further hosts a colossal flea market, interactive art installation, experiential zones and a staggering collection of food and beverages.
