Landing this May, Comic Con Mumbai edition is here to give you a full-blown pop culture universe where fandoms collide. From celebrity guests to watching some of India’s best cosplayers in action, Mumbai is entering its main character era. And, we are here to tell you everything you need to know.
Comic Con Mumbai – 2026 Edition
Whether you are a Marvel stan, a DC underdog, an obsessive otaku, or someone who wants to soak in the fictional vibe, this is where the pop-culture realm becomes real. From May 9 to May 10 2026, Comic Con Mumbai is taking over Jio World Convention Centre. From fandom merch to rare collectables, this is where you can find it all. Mumbai 2026 edition isn’t holding back.
Artist Arenas
Presented by Maruti Suzuki and Crunchyroll, the festival is set to be a fan’s dream. Expect dedicated anime zones, specialised manga and comics collections. The highlight is the Artist Alley, where you can meet the brains behind some of India’s favourite indie comics. This year features veteran publishers like Vivek Goel, the founder of Holy Cow and the publisher of 80+ Indie comics, including The Aghori, The Last Asuran, and Ravayan. Internet’s favourite Induverse is bringing the new wave of Indian superheroes, and Akshara, the face behind Happyfluff Comics, who has turned issues of body image, sex education, and mental health into adorable comics. The celebrated lineup also includes Savio Mascarenhas, Tinkle’s hero heart, who has bought Shikari Shambu and Super Supandi alive for the past 30+ years
The celebrated lineup seems never-ending, with the likes of Acid Toad, Graphicurry, Bakarmaxx, Amrit Pal Singh, and even the happiness illustrator herself, Alicia Souza. Take a selfie, get your comic autograph, buy an adorable merch, or if you are a budding illustrator, then no better time to get some expert tips. Moreover, for gamers, the NODWIN Gaming Arena is coming with a full swing of esports and tabletop challenges to try out.
Cosplay And Performances
Beyond the endless rows of stalls selling pop-culture merch, posters, bobble heads, and cutest trinkets, there is more. The crown of Comic Con is the Indian Championship of Cosplay (ICC) qualifiers. Whether you want to dress up as an anime character or a DC vigilante, this is the space where your alternate identity comes to life. So, get crafting that EVA foam armour or even a store-bought cape, the Jio world stage is where you’ll want to be seen. If you are too shy, however, you can rejoice at seeing your favourite character come to life.
On the other hand, the performance lineup for the season is a hard-hitting one. While the official lineup of performances is yet to be announced for 2026, you can expect only the best. After all, last year’s stage was enlightened by the presence of Japanese voice actors, Kappei Tamaguchi and Hiroaki Hirata, known for voicing Usopp and Sanji, respectively, in One Piece. This year too, expect an illustrated lineup of your favourite artists leading insightful panel discussions, creative processes, live music, and hearty stand-up comedies.
