If you’ve been waiting for a proper excuse to drag your +1 to the movies, this is it. Romance lovers are well-aware of the magic of Ali Hazelwood’s words. And now, after months of teasing, the rom-com adaptation of her bestselling novel, The Love Hypothesis, is finally landing on Amazon Prime on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. However, there is something ultra special for rom-com fanatics who cannot seem to hold their horses. Sunset Cinema Club, in association with Prime Video, is bringing The Love Hypothesis to an indoor screening at The Nines on September 21. The best part? It won’t cost you a dime beyond an RSVP.
The Love Hypothesis – Free Screening
Prime Video’s long-awaited rom-com, The Love Hypothesis, is coming for an exclusive free screening on Monday, September 21, 2026. While it’s free, you must RSVP to reserve your spot. Yet another important and exciting part? Each ticket admits TWO (you and your dear +1).
The film stars Lili Reinhart as Olive, a PhD candidate who impulsively kisses her intimidating professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman) to convince her best friend she’s over her old crush. What starts as a tactical fake relationship with well-defined rules and boundaries slowly gets complicated when the lines between arrangement and reality begin to blur. Based on Ali Hazelwood’s New York Times bestselling novel, the story mixes academic ambition with slow-burn romance and a fair amount of comedy. Perfect for an evening of popcorn and chic flick nostalgia.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and food and beverages will be available at the venue. Parking is also on-site.
While the event is free, registration is a must. With limited seats, you might as well get in line to reserve your spot ASAP.
