The end (of the beginning of this terrifyingly good bash) is near! Halloween’s more than a month away, but the undead will rise in Mumbai on September 13 with this pre-Halloween zombie party called ‘The Last of Us’. Yes, it draws inspiration from the cult video game and HBO series of the same name, which is about a zombie apocalypse. However, instead of fighting for your life like Pedro Pascal’s character does in the show, you will have the time of your life. Or afterlife.

The sprawling villas and gardens of Amandi Bungalows turn into a haunting, post-apocalyptic graveyard rave filled with Halloween lanterns, cobwebs, skulls and rooms where actors dressed up as horrifying flesh-eating corpses waiting to terrify and infect you with a zombie virus. Keeping with the theme, the music will absolutely be infectious with viral hits – DJs Kryonix, Sungod and Chaos will play a blend of techno, afrobeat, commercial music and Bollywood.
Finger food has a whole other meaning at a zombie party. But the grub at The Last of Us event is spooky-looking yet perfectly edible. Unlimited jungle juice and one-time food are included with the ticket.
All guests must dress up in their spookiest costumes, the gorier the better. This shindig perfect place to soft-launch your Halloween 2025 costumes and level it up for October. We’re talking blood-splattered, torn clothes, gruesome makeup that turns you into lifeless creatures with sunken eyes, open wounds, and rotting skin straight out of The Walking Dead or 28 Days Later. It’s okay, we’re allowed franchise crossovers; nothing matters in the apocalypse. Except surviving, and slaying (some zombies) all night in the city that never sleeps.
