With Diwali and All Hallow’s Eve overlapping this year on October 31, Mumbai is getting a headstart on the creepy celebrations. Killer cocktail deals, deadly dance parties to show off your Wednesday Adam (or Manjulika) moves and even a Zombiecon are putting life into the night of the undead. 1. The Freak Show, Social
Creatures of the nightlife should head to this popular cafe and bar chain’s The Freak Show party. In collaboration with Casa Bacardi, you drink some bloody brews like The Blackout and Witch’s Brew and thrilling music to dance to all night long. Make sure you’re in costume! 2. Carnival of Shadows, Carnival by Tresind
Our friends in Secret Dubai are huge fans of this Dubai-born modern Indian restaurant’s award-winning food. Their Mumbai outpost in Juhu brings in that same level of excellence, including creative seasonal events like the Carnival of Shadows Halloween. Specially crafted cocktails like the Midnight Masquerade, Devil’s Juggler and Carn-Evil Poison are so stunning to look at sipping them feels sinister. 3. Death Gala, antiSOCIAL
Social’s performance venue for alt music and events transforms into the underworld’s hellish landscapes for their annual Halloween party. Their Met Gala-inspired Death Gala sees horror get haute – guests walk the bloody red carpet dressed in their most creative costumes and makeup. Then, groove the night away to deep house and techno music by international DJs while being transfixed by enchantingly macabre performances by queer and drag artists.

4. The Souled Store Halloween Bash
Casual clothing brand Souled Store is hosting a Halloween party epic enough to wake up the dead. 5. The Graveyard, Lord of the Drinks
The graveyard shift has never been more fun than this Halloween party considered Mumbai’s largest Halloween event. A spooky magic show, open mic horror storytelling for some spine-chilling tales, trick-or-treat games and a live DJ spinning hex-cellent music that’ll cast a spell on you. The icing on this cake, oops, the headstone on this grave is a cosplay event with prizes to be one for the goriest, most creative costumes.

6. Brew and Boo Bash, Independence Brewing Company

The glam all-day dining restaurant of the Sofitel BKC will join the fright train with a family-friendly Halloween Brunch. 8. Scaryoke, The Den
This Bandra joint is one of our favourite karaoke bars in Mumbai for good reason. This Halloween, they’re giving their signature karaoke nights a scary twist. Wench Film Festival, India’s first horror film festival has teamed up with them to ensure you’ll have a howling good time, whether your singing sounds like screaming bloody murder or you’ve got the voice and otherworldly perfect pitch of an angel. Either way, butcher those tunes. Dressing up in costume is mandatory. Entry is free.

9. Zombiecon India Walk Pub Crawl
India’s first-ever Zombiecon Pub Crawl will see the undead waddle around Bandra’s streets on the quest for drinks and a killer time. Show up in your most distressing and hideous corpse look, whether it’s Go Goa Gone’s Bollywood flesh-eaters or mushroom-headed beasts of The Last of Us. Then prowl in and out of trendy bars like Woodside Inn, The Den, and Bonobo knock back some delicious potions into the witching hours of Halloween day. 10. Grisly Girgaon Ghost Tour
