Whether it is a birthday, a wedding or hey, congratulations on graduating(!), a string of delicious cocktails is often the medium of celebration. A splash of tonic water to the age-old Bombay Sapphire or a garnish of orange peel to make a delightful Negroni, gin has more often been the top choice. Therefore, to celebrate the iconic International Gin and Tonic Day, Sofitel Mumbai is hosting a week-long gin festival serving a variety of gins, tonics, and flavours.
When and where is the Gin and Tonic festival?

Starting on October 17, 2025, until October 24, 2025, the Gin and Tonic festival will take place at Jyran- Tandoor Dining and Lounge in Sofitel Mumbai, BKC. You can indulge in this week-long affair during lunch hours from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm or dinner hours from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Cocktails, food menu, and more

Expect a line-up of premium gin and equally stirring tonics that pair beautifully with delightful ingredients to make up a stunning range of cocktails. Carrying notes of subtle spices, primarily cinnamon, ginger root and curry leaves, the Colombo gin comes paired with a Pomelo & Pink Pepper Tonic. This zesty, citrus-induced cocktail is the easy star of the menu, among other offerings like Langley’s London Dry Gin paired with Indian Tonic Water to make way for a crisp, no-nonsense and classic cocktail.

Further, a special menu is specifically curated for this festival to make sure every dish works to elevate the existing botanical notes of the gin and tonics offered. Slow-cooked Nalli Nihari simmering with flavours, creamy Murgh Baradari Korma, and Shahi Gosht ki Gilawat are among the exclusive menu items. Further, the iconic Dal-e-Qureshi cooked for 48 hours on a clay oven and a selection of kebabs finished on a traditional sigri for a smoky flavour all feature in the menu.
