Sindhudurg’s Napne Waterfall just got a whole new look! This quaint waterfall, surrounded by pristine greenery, is now home to Maharashtra’s first-ever glass bridge. Offering magnificent views of the Konkan region, the bridge allows you to walk and gaze directly down at the gushing waterfall.

Featuring high-strength transparent glass and ingenious arch railings, the walkway offers a stunning perspective to admire the waterfall. A gorgeous butterfly sculpture, further, stands tall at its entrance, which is soon followed by a series of dramatic arches in a variety of different colours.
Location and surroundings
The waterfall is situated in the Sindhudurg district, merely 3 km from the nearest railway station- Vaibhavwadi railway station. Perched among the lush landscape, a visit to the newly inaugurated skywalk is highly recommended this monsoon season. With the dense forest turning a brighter shade of green, you can even catch glimpses of exotic birds as you take a stroll across the walkway.
Journey from Mumbai to visit the glass bridge
🚌By Bus: Private buses run from Mumbai to Vaibhavwadi, taking around 9-11 hours. You can then hire an auto to take you to the waterfall.
🛣️By Road: You can drive to the waterfall from Mumbai by taking the NH-66 Highway. With a gorgeous view, especially this monsoon season, the journey will be well worth it.
With the region illuminated during monsoons, the best time to visit would be between the months of September and February.
