The Maximum City has finally jumped on the bandwagon that has been trailing across seven cities in India – the South African brand Nando’s has officially opened its doors to Mumbaikars! Opening their flagship restaurant in Kamala Mills, the global brand is coming in hot with their lip-smackin peri-peri flavours.
A glimpse at Nando’s menu

Offering an extensive selection, your first order of business would be to designate your spice tolerance. It’s chilli-moulded scale, eccentrically christened as the PERI-ometer, ranges from plain-ish to extra hot, and I hardly think we are the ones to back down from a challenge! Start your meals with a round of appetisers from tangy chicken wings to crunchy potato wedges and pita strips with a peri-peri drizzle. Kicking in an Indian twist, you can further order to share a dish of creamy cashew chicken naan or paneer naan.
From burgers, pitas and wraps to build your own peri-peri platters, we can attest that the tender and juicy flavours will have you coming back for more. We highly recommend the Nando’s classic peri-peri burger or the Chicken Cataplana with a glass of their Rosa Frisca for an appetising meal! You can check out their full menu here.
Plans for expansion
Currently, Nando’s has 18 outlets open across seven cities in India and is planning to open 12 more! “From the start of our Joint Venture, we have been working to bring Nando’s to Mumbai in a big way and are super excited to officially launch the Mumbai chapter of Nando’s India journey, bringing the spirit of Nando’s to Mumbaikars,” says Sameer Bhasin, CEO, Nando’s India. Founded in 1987, the brand has grown into a global success and is currently looking to open 100 outlets across the nation this decade.
